Second graders learned about symmetry and overlapping while building their drawing skills to create a fantasy treehouse.
First graders used their drawing and painting skills to create these cute-as-a-button bunnies just in time for spring! They experimented with a new painting technique to give their bunny a fluffy texture. Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian painter famous for being one of the earliest inventors of abstract art. Scholars used Kandinsky's Color Study: Squares with Concentric Circles, 1913 as inspiration to create their own colorful abstract art with tempera paint. Displayed together it becomes a beautiful collaborative piece. |
