Second grade scholars learned all about insects and drew their own insects that combined their knowledge with their imagination. They traced their lines with glue to create thick shiny black lines and then used a blending technique with chalk to create the bold and beautiful colors
Fourth graders learned about desert animals and habitats and practiced mixing tempera paints to create realistic desert landscapes. Third grade scholars explored the color wheel and color theory with a special focus on complimentary colors which are opposite each other on the color wheel. Fifth graders learned about drawing in one point perspective and using the vanishing point. They created a cityscape from a bird's-eye-view to demonstrate their knowledge. |
